Cardinal officials say the Rival platform handles "vast amounts of data" faster than others, reducing the risk of stale quotes. The agricultural market-making group of Greenwich, Conn.-based Cardinal Capital Management has rolled out the Rival Trader low-latency trading and risk management system from Rival Systems, the trading technology provider spinoff from Ronin Capital, along with a feed of CME Group market data to support its trading activities.
